2022 Human Rights Art and Life Festival Ruan Theater "Trance"
"Trance" is a story that starts from the ego. Through the protagonist Xiaohua being possessed by four ghosts, it interprets the history of oppressed ethnic groups in Taiwan. Whether it is Xiaohua's ego or the ego of the ghosts, their private emotions can be connected to another aspect of public history.
The stage design uses the IV rack commonly seen in hospitals as an element, making it an extension of the actor's body, and changing its use method to become a cage composed of vertical stainless steel.
