2023 Fringe Festival Rooftop Theatre Company Works
The text of "I Have Never Seen Such a Gloomy and Bright Day" describes a girl and a man who do not know each other on a rooftop and meet at the moment before committing suicide, exploring the inner entanglements and self-analysis of dying people. The stage design is inspired by the face-to-face doctor-patient relationship in the consultation room, and the hollow rooftop wall accommodates the characters and the audience in the same space. The large area of gray background and the living plants dotted in it create a slightly lonely and abandoned corner.
