The sky created by Mary is the dovecot of the imprisoned bird Xinye.
This stage design attempts to blur the definition of space. It can be a rooftop illegal construction in the urban cracks; it can also be a forgotten underground crypt. This group of people who "live" on the edge of society and gender coexist in a cocoon as thin as a cicada's wing.
The gold mixed in the mottled color refers to the concept of "Kintsuke" (金継ぎ, "inheriting with gold"), a traditional Japanese repair technique, which regards damage and repair as part of the history of the object, rather than covering it up.
The cracks and scars have never disappeared, but are traces of their existence.
