Du Lifang grew up in a single-parent family. In order to take care of her mother and brother, she dropped out of college to work in another place despite her mother's opposition. A few years later, she built a career in China through her own efforts, but she also left a knot with her mother. Du Lixin, her brother who had always talked to his sister, became a sandwich cookie because of the dispute between his mother and sister.
However, the sudden death of their mother reunited the separated siblings. The siblings chatted for a night, from childhood fun to youthful frivolity, with laughter and tears. This was their last night and their first night; this night was starlit and moonlit, but things had changed.
The stage design is based on the visual setting of an old apartment in Taipei that is 40 to 50 years old. The deepest part of the entire interior space is set as the mother's room, which is also the corner that the brother and sister dare not face in their hearts. The setting uses "plant" elements scattered in the space, each of which implies the traces of the brother and mother's overlapping and intertwined lives.
